Scholarship

Responsible for the yearly applicant review, distribution, and verification that scholarship funds are awarded according to the established guidelines.  Make applications available to potential scholarship applicants. Review all applicants in accordance with established guidelines for choosing the scholarship recipient(s). Contact scholarship recipient(s) and invite them to be present at the membership meeting to receive the award. Submit a committee report at the end of each year to the president. Money is earned through volunteers working Rodeo Concession Stand, and such projects as needed for the scholarship fund. A written list of the scholarship recipients will be submitted at the June Board meeting.
