SCHOLARSHIPS

The Scholarship Committee duties are as follows:

• Responsible for the yearly applicant review, distribution, and verification that scholarship funds are awarded according to the established guidelines.  

• Make applications available to potential scholarship applicants.

•  Review all applicants in accordance with established guidelines for choosing the scholarship recipient(s). Contact scholarship recipient(s) and invite them to be present at the membership meeting to receive the award.

•  Submit a committee report at the end of each year to the president. 

Money is earned through volunteers working Rodeo Concession Stand, and such projects as needed for the scholarship fund. A written list of the scholarship recipients will be submitted at the June Board meeting.
