Dodge City Area Women’s Chamber May Day Breakfast Thank You!
The Dodge City Area Women’s Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all those who made our 1st annual May Day Breakfast Fundraiser a success!
The May Day Breakfast Fundraiser was held on Wednesday, May 1st at the Ford County Fair Building on Park Street in Dodge City. This is a brand-new fundraiser for the Women’s Chamber and the proceeds will go to scholarships and community project grants awarded by the Women’s Chamber.
A hot breakfast was served to all who purchased tickets and we were also able to deliver meals to area businesses who purchased tickets ahead of the event. This is the first time the Women’s Chamber has been able to offer this service.
A May basket raffle was also held during the event. Items for auction were contributed by many local businesses and individuals. Every breakfast ticket was given a chance for the raffle. Additional raffle tickets were sold for $1 apiece.
